Christos Korbilas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christos Korbilas (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on October 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Sotirios and Panagiotis; and his parents, Ioannis Korbilas and Panagiota Korbilas. He is survived by: his spouse Sotiria (Diamantopoulos); his children, John (Dimitra) and Betty (Stavros); his sisters, Christina and Tassia; his brother-in-law Nicholas Boutziouvis; his grandsons, Christos and Giorgos; and also, George, Taki (Nicoletta) and Pitsa (Ioannis). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandnephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa, ON K2C1N2). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
