Chris Zappa Obituary

In hospital on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the age of 38, surrounded by and with the love of his family. Chris will be deeply missed by his parents Larry and Debbie, younger brother Andrew and especially, by the pride and joy of his life, his son Bradley. He was predeceased by his grandparents John and Yvette Zappa, Barbara and Fred Artelle and step-grandfather Ken Resnick. He will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and by his canine companion, Carter. Chris enjoyed working with Brad on cars, tuning them up and keeping them in good running order. He also spent many enjoyable hours at his favourite fishing hole – hoping to 'catch the big one'. A visitation will be held at Capital Funeral Home and Cemetery, on Friday, June 23 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24 at 2:00 pm, followed by burial. In lieu of flowers, a donation the Ottawa Hospital Foundation – General Campus OR Civic Campus ICU, would be appreciated.
