He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Charles and Annie Mae Skinner (Cogswell); his son-in-law Tom Calow; and his grandchildren, Stephen Chase and Ben Skinner.

He is survived by: his brothers, Vernon, Harry, Ralph, Lloyd and Scott; his children, Diane Chase (Barry) of Dartmouth, NS, Carol Calow of Amherstview and David of Ottawa; his stepdaughter Bonnie Campbell (Ron) of Nepean; his grandchildren, Sharon Chase (Mike Dort) of Dartmouth, Sandra Chase of Dartmouth, NS, Susan Donald (Ross) of Cole Harbour, NS, Jeffrey Calow (Rachael) of Boston, Massachusetts, Catherine Hudson (Steven) of Amherstview, Wade Skinner of Ottawa and Steven Campbell (Stacey) of Waterloo; his great grandchildren, Kathleen Donald, Malcolm, Charlotte Dort, Nick, Sam Calow, Sarah, Megan Hudson and Mady Campbell; and also Thelma A. C. Creelman.
