It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Clarence Cooper (Ottawa, Ontario), born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Harvey Cooper Sr. and Eva Scholir; and his siblings, John Cooper (Jackie), Patricia Mercer and Barbara Baranowski.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his sisters, Muriel Phillips (Michael), Shirley Corsini (Daniel) and Rose Spong (Phillip); his children, Tracy Ann Cooper, Christopher Cooper (Tricia) and Cecil Cooper Jr. (Kelli); his stepchildren, Marc Vachon (Yasmin) and Lucie Lafleur (Louis); his siblings-in-law, Albert Charbonneau, Bernard Charbonneau (Muguette) and Denise Charlebois; and his friend Ilsa Eustice. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cecil's memory to Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata.
