“I was saddened to hear that Carol has passed from ALS. Having worked directly with her at the Maritime Forces Atlantic Headquarters from 2008 to 2010, only fond memories remain. She always brightened my day with her welcoming smile and her constant support. As a young naval officer newly assigned ashore, she shared her wealth of knowledge which she acquired through her extensive experiences within the Department of Defense. As a friend, she was always there when my morale needed a boost and always provided me with sound advice. May she rest in peace and remain the Guardian Angel for her family members that were left behind. Sylvie Robinson”

“Gary, I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Carol was such an inspirational lady. She dealt with this disease with such strength and poise. She had such a warm soul and had such great passion in for life. I am so blessed to have known Carol. Our last visit will remain one of my finest memories with her. God asked for another Angel . . . . . . . and Carol graciously extended her hand. Rest in Peace my Friend. You will be missed”
