As Carmelle departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carmelle may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carmelle leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert A. Goguen and Delina Goguen; her husband Hamilton Bruce Hay; and her siblings, Bernadette Bastarache (Néri), Simonne Boucher (late Tilman), Jean-Guy (Lauria) and Stephen Hay.
She is survived by: her siblings, Roberta Arseneau (late Emery) of Moncton and Paul (Irène) of Lewisville.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pinecrest Reception Centre (2500 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C3H9).
