He was predeceased by: his wife Thanh-Tung. He is survived by: his daughters, Quynh-Mai Nguyen (Matthew Miller) and Kim-Anh Nguyen (Luc Tourangeau); his grandsons, Caleb and Noah Tourangeau; and his siblings, Tuan-Khanh, Cao-Sang, Thuy-Nga and Cao-Dan.
