He was predeceased by: his brother Dick (Gayle); and his parents, Garner Foster and Doreena 'Dot Foster. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie (Wallace); his son Bruce Jr.; his stepchildren, Shawn (Natasha) and Corinna Murdoch; and his sisters, Doreen Foster and Diane (late Preben Jensen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
