He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Blanche Gallant and Gordon Gallant; his brothers, Wayne (Maureen), Douglas Gallant (Eileen) of Burlington, ON and Ottawa; his wife Peggy; his children, Suzanne (Dean Rogers), Margot (Blair Chafe), Jon (Sherry Lafontaine) and Mark Gallant; and his granddaughters, Elyse and Sasha Rogers.

Memorial donations to the Parkdale Food Centre would be appreciated by the family.
