He was predeceased by: his child Shawn Ling Lynne Danis; his parents, Arthur Ling and Margaret Ling; and his siblings, Patricia McLeod, Colleen Barclay, Daniel and Glen Ling.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Ling (Deziel); and his children, Paul Ling, Lisa Ling, Krista Tevlin (Robert Keyes) and Peter Ling (Genny Silvestro). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
