He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen and Cecil; his sister Dian; his wife Lois; his daughters, Heather O'Connell (Ryan), Emily Saumure (Nicholas), Cheryl (Andrew Cruz) and Tanya Hay (Andrew); and his grandchildren, Angéline, Felix, Lisa, Declan, Rowan, Finnigan and Elliott.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight, Warren and Caroline; and his aunt Barbara Saunders. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
