She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover and Mildred; her sister Libby Barrett (George); and her stepmother Birdene Buchanan Owen. She is survived by: her husband Wilmer; her children, Angie (Ralf), Joel (Evelyn) and Mark (Candice); her grandchildren, Nicole, Justin, Bridget, Sloane and Dylan; her aunt Sue Ward (late Ben); her uncle Allenee Wilkes (late Emma Lou); her cousin Marlene Gibbs (Ricky); her sisters-in-law, Myrtle Bromley (John) and Vikki Wilke (Elmer); and her close friend Monique Lanouette (Fran Hayward).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Services & Highland Park Cemetery (2037 McGee Side Rd, Carp, ON K0A1L0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
