She was predeceased by: her parents, Rupert Gaul and Cecelia Burns; her husband Roger Despard; and her siblings, Sheila, Joan, Ronald, Charles, Terrance and Donald.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy (Don Gosson); her stepdaughter Michelle (Silverio Castillo); her granddaughters, Tiffany Smiley (Mike Gassien) and Rayna Gosson; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Gwynn, Maverik and Korbin; and her sisters, Nancy Kenyon (Gerry) and Diane Sabourin (Pete). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
