She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggy McGuirl and Harry McGuirl; and also, Leslie Anne, Neal, Cynthia and Chris.

She is survived by: her husband Rick Bracken; her children, Jordan (Jessica) and Adam (Grace); her grandchildren, Georgia and Mason; her sisters, Judy and Debi; and also, Bruce, Marilyn, John, Nancy, Gordon, David, Elizabeth and Stephanie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ottawa Innercity Ministries, 391 Gladstone Avenue, Ottawa K2P 0Y9 in her honour.
