It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie North (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bessie North to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Leslie North; her sons, Eddie and Doug; and her sons-in-law, Pat Needham and Peter Couturier.

She is survived by: her children, Gwen, Ruth (Allen Hills), Charles (Lynn), Leslie, Joe (Grace), Jean (Bernie Barber), Loreen (Gary Peacock), Bruce (Robin) and Anna; and her sister Grace McCaugherty. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A private family service will be held due to the current COVID restrictions.
