He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Nicholson and Doug Nicholson; and his mother-in-law Margaret. He is survived by: his spouse Lee Nicholson; his daughters, Leanne (Jeff) and Angela (Jim); his grandchildren, Nick, Abigail, Jason and Elizabeth; his sister Sandra Johnston (Ian); his father-in-law Clint Manning; and his brother-in-law Jack Manning (Cathy).

In lieu of flowers contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
