He was predeceased by: his father Hector; his father-in-law Keith Seggie; his grandparents, Adelaide Breland, Antoine Breland, Sydney Phillips and Leona Phillips; and also Morgan Phillips.
He is survived by: his spouse Mary; his children, Kelly, Paige, Colin and Mary; his mother Gwyn; and his siblings, Joan, Clark, Yvonne and Leanne.
Memorial donations in Barry's memory may be directed to the Soldier On Fund - 4210 Labelle Street, Ottawa, ON, K1A 0K2 – in support of veterans and serving members to adapt and overcome permanent physical or mental health injuries through physical activity and sport.
