With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avelina Posthumus in Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Wietse Posthumus; her children, Andrew (Karen), Kathy (Bill) of Haan and Paul (Elaine); and her grandchildren, Calvin (Brittany), Evan (Taylor), Ryan, Emily and Luke.

Private interment will take place at a future date when Covid restrictions are lifted.
