He was predeceased by: his wife Christina (Hill); his parents, Angelina (Lortie) and Emerie; and his siblings, Angelique (Roland Dagenais), Emery (Jacqueline), Regina (Henri Loyer), Lucien (Claudette), Lucienne (Gordon Davidson), Jeanne (Jean Marc Martel), Juliette (Wilfrid Charbonneau), Rheal (Alice) and Gerald.

He is survived by: his children, Peter (Carmelia), Dan (Karen), Sue (Gilles) and Kathleen; his grandchildren, Richard (Christine), Chris (Jess), Mac (Cara), Patrick (Chiara), Ben, John, Dominic (Emilie) and Cassie (Pat); his great grandchildren, Georgia, Madi and Brooklyn; and his siblings-in-law, June (Bob), Ruth, Walter (Karen), Stan (Diane), Dave (Chris) and Ron (Monique).
