As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Asit Kumar may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nripendra Hazra and Mira Hazra. He is survived by: his wife Shoma; his children, Samir (Casey) and Tia (Sailesh); and his granddaughter Mira. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, an organization that Asit supported passionately throughout his life.
