Though Ashim Kumar may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ashim Kumar touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Gopa; his children, Anirban and Sumona (Adam); and his granddaughter Sienna.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home - Kanata Chapel (580 Eagleson Rd, Kanata, ON K2M1H4).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or CHEO in Ashim's honour.
