Though Arthur may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles-Auguste Roy and Margaret McCaffrey; and his sister Lorraine Roy Lemieux (late John E. Lemieux). He is survived by: his wife Maria Lovas Roy; and his nieces and nephews, Claire Lemieux (Henrick Idstam), Joan Lemieux (Robert Urichuck), Charles Lemieux (Kathy Bradley) and Pierre Lemieux (Jacynthe Pilon).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1L1B4). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
