He was predeceased by: his wife Jo-Anne. He is survived by: his sons, Scott (Jaime), Rob (Rachel), Matthew (Dayna) and Andrew (Jen); and his grandchildren, James, Noah, Olive, Scarlett, Gracelyn, Benjamin, Iris and Atticus.

“Ed was a wonderful “boss”, colleague and mentor. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a warm smile for everyone. Ed was an outstanding leader in education. I feel so very fortunate to have worked with him in various capacities at the OBE- especially, R. Byrns Curry School and on the Executive of FOBEEP. Family meant the world to Ed. He was always keen to fill people in on how Joanne, “the boys”, their partners and the grandchildren were faring. His bright light will be missed in my life.”
