He is survived by: his spouse Zulmira Pereira; his children, Teresa (Manuel), Hirondina (Afonso), Odilia (Ivo), Ana-Maria (late Carlos), Leonilde (Semião), Germana (Cristovão), Maria-Helena (João-Maria), Hermano (Alice), José António (Marcia), Afonso (Maria Zelia), Victor (Christina), Nelia (Tony) and Paulo (Lisette); his grandchildren, Cliff, Sylvie, Tony, Elisa, Jessica, Ashley, Bruno, Milton, Andrea, Leila, Filipe, Christopher, Ruben, Sofia, Joshua, Marta, Kathleen, Kevin, Anthony, Fabio, Sara, Mikaela, Daniela, Carolina, Jacob and Emma; his great grandchildren, Thiago, Andrew, Karina, Mateo, Mikaela, Matilde, Erica, Françisca, Tatiana, Jorge Miguel, Adriano, Leandro, Ricciardo and Theo; his great great grandchild Maverick; and his siblings, Isabel, Deniz, João and Agostinho.
