He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Borges and Maria Borges. He is survived by: his wife Maria Madalena Borges; his daughter Maria Do Carmo Daigle (Ed Daigle); his granddaughters, Madeleine Grant (Robert Grant) and Catherine Daigle; and his sister Maria Do Carmo Borges.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saint Bernard Church (1720 St Bernard St, Ottawa, ON K1T1K8). A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hope Cemetery (4660 Bank St, Gloucester, ON K1T3W7).
