She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband José Gouveia Santos; her children, Armando (Luisa), Margarida, Ana Maria (Marco), Carlos (Ute), Ceu (Jim), José, Elizabeth (James) and Madalena; and her siblings, Fernanda, Mercedes and Abel. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
