He was predeceased by: his parents, Nita Girard and Henry Girard; his brother George Girard; and his sister-in-law Shirley. He is survived by: his significant other Anne Davidson; his children, Susan Hitchcock (Bill), Donna Andrews and Sandy Girard (Mike Lefebvre); the parent of his children Mirrieme Girard; his grandchildren, Lindsay Hitchcock (Cole), Laura Hitchcock, Tammy Chartrand (Shane), Mitchell Andrews, Alex Poloni and Russ Poloni; his great grandchild Tracey Chartrand; his siblings, Lila McCleave (Ivan), Ruth Harding, Agnes Girard, Jean Lapointe (Yvon), Eleanor Woods, Linda Conroy (John) and Jim Girard (Karen); and his pet Benji. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cherished friends.
