He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dorothy, Joan, Marjorie, Joyce and Maureen; and his parents, Norbert Joseph Darwin and Dorothy Ellen (Allen).

He is survived by: his sons, David (Linda) and Eric (late Frances); his grandchildren, Matthew, Martin, Angela, Michelle (Calvin) and Cosmos; his great grandchildren, Alexander and Benjamin; and his sister Geraldine (John).
