He was predeceased by: his parents, Cedric Gilbert and Mary Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Merle Gilbert; his son Michael Gilbert (Lesia); his grandchildren, Donovan, Riley and Brayden Gilbert; and his brothers, Jeff Gilbert (Jan) and Brian Gilbert (Celeste). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
