He was predeceased by: his wife Donalda; and his son Stuart. He is survived by: his sons, Ross (Aileen) and David; and his stepgrandchildren, Courtney (David) and Lauren (Paul). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
