He was predeceased by: his parents, Ersilia Pugliese and Mario Pugliese; his brother Francesco; his parents-in-law, Ralph and Margaret Johnstone; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Barr (Fred) and Ron Johnstone.

He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Celia Clemmings (Christopher), Bianca Pugliese and Mario Pugliese (Katrina Abou Risk); his grandchildren, Riley Clemmings, Jordan Clemmings (Jaylyn MacDonald) and Addisyn Chevrier; his siblings, Rosa (Bruno Vitelli), Salvatore (Diane), Pino (Marita), Anna Maria (Franco Rovito), Lidia, Emilio (Karen) and Antonio (Lena); and his siblings-in-law, Danny Johnstone (Susan) and Lynn Telford (late Brian).
