He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "George" Brown and Emma Agnes Maxwell; his significant other Nance; and his brothers, David, Douglas, Stuart and Ronnie.
He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Anne (David "Jeffrey"); his sister Linda (Paul Sharkey); his son Jeff (Isabelle Panier); and his grandchildren, Benjamin and Marianne Brown.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County, the Montfort Hospital Foundation or the Humane Society of Ottawa.
