Al Hamblin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Al Hamblin (Ottawa, Ontario), who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Al Hamblin to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Al shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Al farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his children, Tara (Jon Carl) and Robin; his former spouse Saxon Harding; his grandchildren, William and Jacqueline Godfrey; his sister Doreen Pollitt (late Wayne); and his close friend Gayl McKinley.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute and/or the Queensway Carleton Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
