She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvia Wynstekers and Ted Griffin; and her grandparents, James, Catherine Griffin, Lourdes and George Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Katie (Chris) and Christina (Doug); her grandson David; her siblings, Ellen Palmer and Brett McClimond (Katherine); her stepbrothers, Michael (Tracey) and Christopher (Johanne); her stepfather Hank Wynstekers; her nieces and nephews, Jenna, Megan, Todd and Hank Jr.; her great-nieces, Joy-Anna, Faith and Makenna Sylvia; her aunts and uncles, Marilyn, Bill Holden, Leo and Barbara Barrett; her cousins, Lisa Cohan (Neal), Laurie Russo (Dean), Alana Holden-Prendergast (Alan), Kiera, Carly, Courtney Deaglan and Grace; and her friends, Ali and Sheri. She is also survived by her family, extended family.
As a devoted cat lover, owner and rescuer, the family is asking that any support/memorial donations be made out in Sylvia's name to the humane society of Durham and any other animal rescue.
