With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Matthew Giles (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Giles. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his children, Taylor and Emily; his father Douglas Giles; his brother-in-law Dennis Knapp (Lynn); his nephews, Michael and Evan; his niece Jessica; and his pets, Oskar and Archie. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 1401 Phillip Murray Ave, Oshawa, ON L1J8C4. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hockey Canada Assist Fund, a charity that represents Stephen's support for local hockey and inclusion.
