In the sacred silence of farewell, Shontel is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Shontel's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church (42 Lviv Blvd, Oshawa, ON L1H3C3). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the St Wolodymyr & St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery.

Memorial donations to St. George's Ukrainian Catholic Church or Lakeridge Health Foundation Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
