With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Doreen Sobil (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on November 9, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dodwell and Flossie Dodwell; her sisters, Barbara Page (late George) and Patricia Johnson (late Ed); and her siblings-in-law, Tom (late Eileen), Frank (late Goldie), Peter (late Ann), May (late Joe) and Stephen (late Phyllis).

She is survived by: her sons, Paul (Kate) of Courtice and Dennis (Joan) of Tiny, ON; her grandchildren, Jennifer Sobil, Jeff Sobil, Mitch Sobil (Katie), Jackalynn Sobil (Andrew McGill), Devin Menchions, Ryan Menchions (Taylor) and Tanner Acker (Shae); her great grandchildren, Lucian Mirowski, Landyn Mirowski, Jack Sobil, Josie Sobil, Teagan McGill, Maverick McGill and Maisie Acker; and her brother Bill Dodwell (late Kathleen) of Bobcaygeon.
