She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Thompson and Alma Thompson; and her stepson Brad Morrison. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Walker; her daughters, Janice Walker and Shari Lemay (Bob); her stepson Greg Morrison (Sara); her grandchildren, Dale (Tiffany), Melissa (Justin), Steven (Alyson), Christina (Mike), Hayden, Reece and Lauren; and her great grandchildren, Bryce, Hudson, Grace, Claire, Colton, Mackenzie and Bennett.

Not only was Sharon supportive of her family, but her kindness extended to friends by sharing her beautiful cakes, and donating many knitted hats to the local hospitals so that each newborn could have a warm head and heart.
