He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald and Evelyn; and his sister Ellen. He is survived by: his son Kennedy Stuart; his stepson Brian Simmons; his grandchildren, Zak, Paige, Gregory and Phillip; and his nieces and nephews, Angela, Jeb, Melissa and Jeff.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Columbus Community United Church (3285 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1H7K4).
