He was predeceased by: his brothers, Morris, Wayne, Johnny, Ronald, Matthew and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Godin; his children, Andrea Carrier, Tracy Godin (Steve Darlington), Matthew Groves, Paula Groves (Dave Roussy) and Luke Groves; his grandchildren, Cyrus, Cierra, Cameron, Katelynn, Preston, Avery, Aiden, Jada, Isabella, Matthew, Yasmina, Ty, Brianna, Faith, Xaiver, Nevaeh, Noah and Ava; and his sister Joan. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
