She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald James Tranter; and her sister Shahjehan. She is survived by: her son Jonathan (Napat); her grandchildren, Neo and Noah; and her siblings, Shahnaz (Charlie), Munir, Hany (Maleha) and Foad (Linda). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 3rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King St W, Oshawa, ON L1J2L4).
