With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mitch Gruszecki (Oshawa, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia; his children, Jerry (Zofia) and Derek (Ann); his grandchildren, Tricia Soal (Geoff), Sarah Light (Alex), Michelle and Eric; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Max, Lilah, Freddie and Lucas; and his sister Teresa (late Michal). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A prayer will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Hedwig's Polish Catholic Church (411 Olive Ave, Oshawa, ON L1H2P9). A burial will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
