It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene E. Simmons (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on February 22, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her significant other Ed Lawrence; and her grandchild Alyson. She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Morrison (Angela) of Lindsay and Lori Miller (Steven) of Peterborough; her grandchildren, Miranda (Pat), Jake (Jen), Jennifer (Joey), Michelle and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Zoe, Ellie, Jeremy, Jessica, Dayna, Layla, Dante and Ava; and her brother William Toyne (Doreen).
Donations in memory of Marlene to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
