We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2023, at the age of 86, Maria Rechanicz (Oshawa, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael. She is survived by: her children, Eugenia Wilson (late Tim), Jaroslawa Salomone (Vittorio) and Bob Rechanicz (Wendy); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Troy), Travis (Jennifer), Sonia (Steve), Lisa (Bryan), Catherine (Sean), Christine, Colin and Jacob Adored; her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Tyler, Victoria, Violet, Noah and Charlotte; her nieces and nephews, Ihor Hrytskiv (Natalie) and Tolek Hrytskiv; and her brother John Minko. She is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.
The family welcomes and supports anyone wanting to wear a mask, for their comfort, at the services for Maria.
Memorial donations to the Durham Ukrainian Relief Fund, or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
