He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna Kelly; his children, Shane Kelly (Beth), Derek Kelly (Liz) and Megan Amisson; his grandchildren, William Kelly (Jennifer), Hanna Alati (Josh), Parker and Leif Amisson; his great grandchild Kensie Amission; his pet Sara; his parents, Bessie Kelly and Percy Kelly; his siblings, Bert Prout, David Kelly, Helen Ogle and Gwen Stewart; his nephews, John and Robert Kelly; his sister-in-law Janet Kelly; his nephews, David and Steven Prout (Grace); his brother Jim; his siblings-in-law, Joan Brady, Michele Brady, Mark Maly, Joan Maly, Brian Brady and Adrienne Brady; his brother Terry; and his sister-in-law Susan Brady.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St E, Oshawa, ON L1H1B6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (194 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1G4S9).
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Charles H. Best Diabetes Centre or Team Chelsea.
