She was predeceased by: her parents, Katy Swonarow and Misha Swonarow; her sister Ruby McClelland; and her parents-in-law, Innis and Harold Johnston.

She is survived by: her husband Steven Botham; her children, Christopher (Colleen) and Melissa (Joe); and her grandchildren, Michael, Madelyn and Mason. She is also survived by her extended family and her nieces and nephews.
