It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leslie Gale Carmichael (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her spouse Anneke Preyde; her siblings, Paul Bunt (Sandy) and Laurel McQueen (John); her siblings-in-law, Mary Vicars, Michael Preyde, Frank Preyde (Robyn) and Jim Preyde (Sue); and her cousin Sydney Binnington (Barbara). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, several grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and many, many friends.

As an expression of sympathy, a donation may be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation.
