It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo Van Hezewijk (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on June 2, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo Van Hezewijk to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Albert, Gerry, Emanuel, John, Frank, Gabriel and Paula of Graauw; and his parents, Johannes and Johanna.

He is survived by: his wife Rolande; his daughter Angele Henderson (Mike Sandbrook); his grandchildren, Darrell Simmons (Ana), Lisa Simmons and Marc Simmons; his great grandchildren, Kailey, Shai Marie, Emma and Ryan; his sisters, Corrie Meulensteen, Ann Winkel and Mary Hansen; and his sisters-in-law, Monique, Lise, Betty, Toni, Cathy, Mary and Patricia. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
