He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hendry and Diane Hendry; and his brothers, James Hendry Jr. and Dave Drennan. He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Hendry, Kurt Hendry, John Hendry, Deborah Moris and Liz Bigalow; and his sons, Karl Vanalstyne and Kevin Vanalstyne.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home (2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Thornton Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Centre (1200 Thornton Rd N, Oshawa, ON L1H7K4).
