John Lyons Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Lyons (Oshawa, Ontario), who passed away on September 11, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cathy Lyons; his children, Michele Lyons (Paul) and Mike Lyons (Tracy); his grandchildren, Jack, Shawn and Bronwyn; his sibling Marg Longauer (late Danny); his sister-in-law Liz Dressing; his nephews, Lance Longauer, Steve Longauer (Nancy), Ray Longauer (Stacey) and Ted Longauer (Cathy); his niece Suzanne Dashney (Kevin); and his children-in-law, Paul and Tracy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Simcoe Hall Settlement House (simcoehall.com) would be appreciated by the family.
